Emma Thacker

In 1997 awarded a PhD from Leeds University for investigations in lead acid battery materials for Hawker Batteries. Started working for EnerSys in 2002 as a Materials Engineer initially in the Newport Wales facility before moving to Corporate HQ in Reading PA in 2007. Currently Director of Materials and in recent years has participated in industry-led CRADA’s with the Argonne National labs.
